My name is Zoe White and I am a trainee solicitor at Stowe Family Law Harrogate. This blog chronicles the experiences of day-to-day life at the UK’s largest specialist family law firm. This blog was written for would-be family lawyers, and for other trainee solicitors.
I am on a steep learning curve – and I’m sure that I am not the only one!
More about me:
I graduated from the University of London with a BA in English Literature in 2010, and went to the University of Glasgow to do an MA. I was awarded my Graduate Diploma in Law (with a distinction) from the University of Staffordshire. I completed my Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School in Manchester, with a distinction in Family Law.
While studying for my Graduate Diploma in Law I wrote a paper called An evaluation of the system of child protection in the UK in light of cases such as ‘Baby P’ and ‘Climbie’.
I have a keen interest in martial arts, I’m a book lover, and enjoy long distance running.
